Trip Together

Problem
Every friend group has a trip they’ll ‘definitely’ take together. Most of them never happen.

The Reason
Friends can’t agree on where to go, how much to spend, or who’s paying. And nobody wants to be the one to bring up money.

Insight
The problem isn’t the trip, but the process. Group travel friction stems from decision-making, not the trip itself. Collaborative shopping turns planning from a chore into part of the adventure.

Idea
Trip Together transforms Airbnb into a collaborative travel-shopping experience. Friends can join a shared “trip room” where they browse stays and experiences together in real time, vote on their favorite destinations or homes, and split payments automatically.

Execution
Trip Together lives natively inside the Airbnb app with a new tab where friends browse, vote, and book stays together in real time, with built-in split payments so the awkward money conversation disappears entirely.

“Trip Together: The reality” is a short-form reality series following a real group of friends trying to plan a group trip. Without the app, it’s chaos. The second they open Trip Together, everything clicks. Each episode drops as 2–3 min Reels and TikToks – the contrast does the selling.

Bold, simple OOH in urban transit hubs across Miami, NYC, and LA bring the feeling of travelling together, the right way, to the streets.

From the group chat to the group vaction: Trip Together makes the planning part of the adventure.

Trip Together turns the most stressful part of group travel – the planning – into the first thing everyone actually enjoys doing together.
